The Habit of Submitting Assignments on Time
Sharing how I transformed from a student who rushed to meet deadlines to someone who can complete assignments on time or even ahead of schedule.
The Habit of Submitting Assignments on Time
When I first entered university, I was actually one of those students who would “cram the night before the deadline.”
-
Check the “Course Progress + Assignment List” weekly
→ I regularly organize the assignment list for the upcoming week every Sunday and mark the importance (which really just means looking at how many points it’s worth 😆). -
Break down the assignment process and put it in a folder
→ It’s not just about remembering the deadline, but breaking the assignment down into: draft → revisions → submission version, and placing them in the folder in stages. (Even if I haven’t finished, I’ll still prepare the latest progress to submit~) -
Do a little each day, don’t aim to finish in one go
→ You don’t have to complete the assignment all at once; just open the file, and even if you only write 3 lines, getting started helps reduce procrastination.
Every day when I open my computer, I know what I need to do today and what can be scheduled for tomorrow or the weekend.
These little habits helped me successfully get through a 31-credit limit semester, increasing my efficiency and significantly reducing my stress 📝
