🌱 Why do I want to establish the EduSearch matching platform?

Personal Experience

I am still a student and also a tutor who occasionally takes on freelance jobs. Over the past few years, I have interacted with many teachers and parents, constantly reaching out, messaging, comparing, waiting, and responding in different communities.
During this process, I found that finding students surprisingly takes the most time and effort.
For example:
• Teachers have to repeatedly post, reintroduce themselves, and wait for responses, but often their efforts go unnoticed.
• Parents struggle to search through a pile of information, not knowing who is available or who fits their child’s needs.
(Not to mention that both parties have to verify each other’s information for authenticity, sometimes even fearing scams.)
Throughout this process, I kept wondering:

EduSearch is a free, open, searchable tutoring matching platform that I want to create.
Here you can:
📂 Quickly find teachers’ resumes, subjects, educational backgrounds, experiences, and fees.
🧾 Create your own teacher card just by filling out a form, without needing to know how to build a website or become an influencer.
💬 Parents can simply describe their needs, and teachers will proactively contact you.
📒 (In the future, it can integrate learning records, feedback, or recommendations to make the growth process more complete.)
But I must honestly state:
❌ This platform does not guarantee successful matching, does not provide third-party guarantees, and does not take a commission.
✅ All information is filled out by teachers/parents voluntarily; users should judge the authenticity and suitability themselves.
I believe honesty is the beginning of a long-lasting relationship; the platform provides tools, but the establishment of each teaching relationship still requires trust and dialogue.

I do not want this to become another chaotic platform. I hope it can be:

📌 A place where you, as a teacher, do not have to repost your resume or repeatedly introduce yourself.
📌 A starting point that has the potential to grow into a more complete teaching ecosystem in the future.
