The Era of Increasing Anxiety with Learning

Recently, various AI tools have sprung up like mushrooms after rain, and this scene often fills me with a deep sense of anxiety.
I always feel like I have spent so much time enriching myself, striving to learn various new uses of AI, fearing that I will fall behind in this era.

However, when I take a moment to catch my breath, I think: it seems I have no way to master all the tools, and I can’t even say I am familiar with them.

”Is this really me?” — Self-Doubt about Creativity

I used to confidently say, “I always hope to learn new knowledge.”
But ironically, now that I am truly putting effort into chasing these new technologies, I find myself having thoughts of retreat.

For example, it seems that I could develop a simple full-stack web system in a short period with the assistance of AI. However, looking at the finished product, I can’t help but doubt: is this really “me”?

Completing this task with AI did not give me a sense of accomplishment; instead, it intensified my feeling of “theft.” Deep down, I know that most of it was written by him; throughout the process, I was at most just a machine that occasionally provided a hint or some advice. This feeling of role reversal has shaken my sense of self-worth.

Back to Basics: Focusing on the “Me” that AI Cannot Replace

The gradually advancing technology truly makes me uneasy. I don’t know what tools will replace my current role in the future, nor do I know what new challenges await.
Will artificial intelligence replace people’s jobs in the future? I don’t know, but it’s likely.

Amidst these chaotic thoughts, I recently tried to calm myself down and return to my original state.

I want to return to “myself,” focusing on the inner “me” — the one that the AI model once told me it could never replace.
The model always says they are just tools; while I am a flesh-and-blood person, I have emotions, and I can genuinely sense the things around me.

Borrowing a Bit of Strength from Nature, Starting Anew

Recently, I have been feeling a sense of despair, which is not just about worries regarding future technological developments, but more about reflections on the state of life.

As humans, the happiest state of living should be with some kind of mission or passion, always maintaining curiosity about this world.

So, I decided to occasionally put down the keyboard and screen.
I will take snacks to the park for a picnic and enjoy the scenery of this land of Taiwan.
I hope to settle my emotions through this method, reorganize my chaotic thoughts,
and then, with a more complete “human” posture, set out again.
