✈️ Finally Departing｜Various Incidents During the Stopover in Guam

Time flies quickly, and before I knew it, 2025 has passed. I also took my sister from Taiwan to this unfamiliar country…
(It’s really unfamiliar; this year we only left Asia for the first time, went to Europe for summer vacation, and now we’re in Hawaii~)
Recently, my mood has stabilized a bit, probably because I’ve been consistently taking my medication (??
When I bought the plane tickets, I only thought about getting the cheapest option and didn’t consider that we would need to find a place to rest during the layover in Guam. Also, Guam doesn’t belong to the US network system, so we needed to buy a separate SIM card for that…
Before Boarding After Exiting
Just a simple record of today’s journey~
We first flew to Guam, paused for 12 hours, and then took a flight to Honolulu.
When we arrived at the airport early to weigh our luggage, we found that one of the bags was over three kilograms. Luckily, we had plenty of time to repack 💦
At the boarding gate, we discovered there were massage chairs nearby, so we went over to check the charges:
To our surprise, they were free! We just had to get tokens from the nearby vendor to use them.
There weren’t many people around, so I asked the staff if we could take tokens repeatedly, and surprisingly, they said yes, but we could only get one token at a time (for ten minutes).
The free time was a bit short, and the experience was quite intermittent, but it was nice (so we wouldn’t accidentally miss the boarding time XD).
I don’t know how this flight usually performs, but the originally scheduled flight at 11:00 left the gate at 11:48, which was quite a delay.
My sister even asked me why the wing was designed this way, but I didn’t know either 🤷♀️

When we just got off the plane, everyone was excitedly taking photos in front of the first decoration that said “Welcome to Guam,” only to later realize there were many more as we walked further…
